Our founder, Carrie Nightingale, recently undertook a specialist training program in Florida where she has been teaching survival skills to infants from an early age.  Watch her journey on Instagram & Facebook.

Starfish 1 is our startercourse for infants 6 months & up.  Children will learn appropriate swimming postures to allow them to swim face down in the water, rotate onto their back to a floating position that enables them to rest and breathe, then return to a facedown swimming posture. This sequence of swim-float-swim can be continued until a desired location is reached. This important skill will prepare your child should he/she accidentally fall into the water.

Children also learn to swim between adults, pool steps and the pool edge for fun and recreation.

Once your child has completed Starfish 1 and can happily demonstrate swimming and floating, they will go to Starfish 2.   Starfish 2 is for children ages 7 months to 3 years.

After successful completion of the Starfish 1 course, your child will move on to Starfish 2 for optimal skill retention.  These maintenance lessons are a great way to keep your child’s skills sharp.  Maintaining aquatic safety skills is an important aspect of your child’s swimming progression.

If your child has not had lessons in an extended period of time, a Refresher Course will ensure your child is the independent, confident swimmer he/she was at the end of the Starfish 1 course. A refresher course will need us to schedule lessons close togetherdepending on the age of the child and amount of time since the child last swam.

We only have a few Starfish slots remaining so don't delay & sign up here
